I’m not that great at introductions, but here we go! 

My name is Jade Cabrera-Song (she/they/ella), I’m a Dominican Republic native currently doing her best to like the Pacific Northwest. 

I have only been in the US for a few years years, and have volunteered/worked for non-profits and moved apartments every year, learning so much along the way and gathering a little too many stories to tell. I dream to share these stories, and hopefully help at least someone along the way.

I taught myself English in high school (so please excuse in advance my errors), and as a language teacher of 8+ years, I strive to show my students that they can do the same. Aside from teaching, I also work odd jobs to make ends meet, but I’m a craft geek at heart. My current obsession is knitting, but you’ll surely find me doing origami, bookbinding and calligraphy here and there.
